SOLDERING PROFILE & CLEANING NOTES:

Through-hole displays are incompatible with reflow soldering.
Mild "no-clean" fluxes are recommended for use in soldering.
If cleaning is required, wash components with water only.
The cleaning process should take place at room temperature.
Immediately remove excess moisture from the component with forced-air drying.
RECOMMENDED WAVE SOLDERING PROFILE:

Pre-heat temperature of 105°C or less.
Peak wave soldering temperature between 245°C ~ 255°C for 3 sec (5 sec max).
Do not apply stress to the epoxy resin while the temperature is above 85°C.

PACKING & LABEL SPECIFICATIONS
THROUGH HOLE DISPLAY MOUNTING METHOD:

Do not bend the component leads by hand without proper tools.
The installation process should not apply stress to the lead terminals.
The component shall be placed at least 5mm from the edge of PCB.
CIRCUIT DESIGN NOTES:

Protective current-limiting resistors may be necessary.
LEDs in parallel should each have a current-limiting resistor.
The driving circuit should protect the LED against reverse voltages and transient voltage spikes.
