Technical Data:
The SA08-11SRWA provides detailed graphs for Relative Intensity vs. Wavelength, Forward Current vs. Forward Voltage, Luminous Intensity vs. Forward Current, and Luminous Intensity vs. Ambient Temperature.
Recommended Wave Soldering Profile:
Through-hole displays are incompatible with reflow soldering.
Pre-heat temperature of 105°C or less is recommended before soldering.
Peak wave soldering temperature should be between 245°C and 255°C for 3 seconds (maximum 5 seconds).
PCB top-surface temperature should be kept below 105°C during soldering.
Cleaning:
Use mild "no-clean" fluxes for soldering.
Clean components with water only, avoiding harsh organic solvents.
Clean at room temperature and limit wash time to one minute.
Remove excess moisture with forced-air drying after washing.

Packing & Label Specifications:
Do not bend component leads without proper tools.
Match terminal pitch with substrate board's hole pitch during insertion.
Place components at least 5mm from PCB edges to avoid heat damage during soldering.
Circuit Design Notes:
Use protective current-limiting resistors for LED operation within specified ranges.
Design driving circuits to protect against reverse voltages and transient spikes.
Choose safe operating current based on maximum ambient temperature.
Avoid prolonged reverse bias to prevent metal migration and short circuits.
